Shockwave Therapy
-
Shockwave therapy is a multidisciplinary device used for fast pain relief and mobility restoration. It achieves this via acoustic waves that penetrate deep into areas of high inflammation and promotes analgesia, regeneration, and reparative processes. More specifically, it stimulates collagen production, dissolves fibroblasts, and disperses substance P(a chemical pain modulator). The most common indicators are knee pain, trigger points, elbow tendinopathy, sequelae of disc herniation, calcified scar tissue, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder.

Vestibular Therapy
-
Vestibular therapy is used to treat balance and dizziness disorders. It involves exercises and techniques that are designed to help the brain and body adapt to changes in the vestibular system, which is responsible for maintaining balance and spatial orientation. Vestibular therapy may include exercises to improve balance, eye movements, and coordination, as well as techniques to help reduce dizziness and vertigo. It can be helpful for individuals who have experienced a head injury, inner ear disorder, or other condition that affects the vestibular system.

Bioimpedance by Inbody®
-
Bioimpedance is a technique that is used to measure the electrical properties of biological tissues. It involves passing a small electrical current through the body and measuring the resistance or impedance to that current. This can provide information about various physiological parameters, such as body composition, symmetry, hydration status, and tissue health. Bioimpedance is commonly used in medical settings to assess body fat percentage, fluid levels, and other health markers. It is also used in some fitness trackers and other consumer devices to provide information about physical activity and health.

Custom Orthotics by Mojofeet®
-
MojoFeet® is a revolutionary orthotics program that uses 3D technology to view and make orthotics from a corrected model of your foot. Its patented pin system not only senses static arch height but measures the level of arch height differential from non-weight-bearing to weight-bearing status.
-
MojoFeet® uses ballistic nylon, D3O smart foam (the same used in NFL padding), and a silver ion-infused covering to combat smells from sweat and bacteria.
-
Many problems within your ankles, knees, hips, and back can be traced back to problems originating within the mechanics of your feet. (please inquire if your insurance covers custom orthotics by contacting the office)

Durable Medical Equipment by Aspen®
-
We use Aspen® spinal bracing equipment because they are clinically researched-backed products that provide stability, pain relief, active decompression, and postural correction.
-
Those who suffer from nerve impingement, discogenic pain, acute trauma, and muscle fatigue or weakness can benefit from Aspen's® high-quality bracing solutions.
-
Our most commonly prescribed braces include:
-
Lumbosacral & Thoracolumbosacral Orthoses
-
Cervical Collars
-
Dynamic Scoliosis Braces
-
Revolutionary hinged knee, wrist, elbow, shoulder, and ankle braces

Craniosacral Therapy
-
Craniosacral therapy is beneficial for addressing various conditions, including headaches, head injuries, infants who have experienced difficult deliveries resulting in strain to the head, asymmetric head shape (plagiocephaly), ear infections, sinus infections, otitis media, pregnancy-related issues, labor and delivery complications, seizure disorders, neurologic deficits, learning difficulties, dental problems, normalization of blood flow, and regulation of autonomic function, sleeplessness, and colic in infants and newborns.

Visceral Manipulation
-
a branch of osteopathy that focuses on addressing imbalances and restrictions in the mobility of organs and structures within the
body. The aim is to optimize organal mobility within their natural positions, promoting better overall system function. -
Visceral osteopathy can benefit various conditions, including sports injuries,
chronic spinal dysfunction, headaches and migraines, joint pain, sciatica,
swallowing dysfunctions, gastrointestinal issues (bloating, constipation,
gastritis), pelvic pain, endometriosis, bladder incontinence, prostate
dysfunction, and pudendal neuralgia.

Osteopathic Medicine
-
a system of medicine based on the principle that disturbances in the musculoskeletal system affect other body parts, causing many disorders that can be treated by various manipulative techniques in conjunction with
conventional medical surgical, pharmacological, and other therapeutic
procedures. The manipulation of the body is gentle– stretches and small
movements – designed to relax tight areas and help restore normal motion to
stiff or “stuck” joints.

HIFEM deep muscle stimulation
-
A revolutionary technology that produces 20,000 muscle contractions in 30 minutes at targeted areas of the body via electromagnetic fields. Originally used for stress incontinence on the pelvic floor, its widespread therapeutic benefits were quickly realized. It is particularly useful for patients with atrophy or deconditioning who are unable to exercise or consciously engage specific muscles. We have seen great success when used for treating sport-related injuries, immobilizations, post-partum diastasis recti, post-surgical spinal rehab, disc herniation, stroke, and many more.
-
It is *most popular* for its use in cosmetic sculpting, and can be used for this purpose as well. (please inquire for specific package details)

Kinesiology Taping
-
A thin, flexible adhesive tape that is used to relieve pain, reduce swelling and inflammation, and provide support to joints and muscles. When applied to the skin it provides sensory feedback to the central nervous system modulating pain responses, provides fluidity to the fascia that lies between the skin and muscles, and increases lymphatic flow by opening up microchannels by inducing pressure gradients. This helps improve the movement of immune cells to the localized area of treatment, and increases flushing of inflammatory byproducts.
-
Our clinic uses various versions of RockTape®

Exercise Rehabilitation
-
Rehabilitation exercise aims to bring back full function following injury by restoring muscle strength, endurance, and power, and improving flexibility.
-
We use an integrated approach with traditional physical therapy, osteopathic exercises, and resistance weight training depending on the needs of the individual. No exercise prescription is the same, and the exercise follows the patient's progression through treatment on an appointment-to-appointment basis.

Rehabilitative Personal Traininig
-
Rehabilitative personal training is a type of exercise program designed to help individuals recover from injuries, surgeries, or other medical conditions. It focuses on improving strength, flexibility, and mobility to restore function and reduce pain through proper form and incremental increase in resistance.
-
We utilize our personal trainers for a variety of conditions including (but certainly not limited to scoliosis, geriatrics, hypermobility, osteopenia/osteoporosis, connective tissue disorders, and for those returning to a gym post-treatment.
-
Our trainers are guided by the physician based on the diagnoses provided to them.
-
Both of our trainers are also certified Fitness Nutrition Specialists, so they commonly utilize nutrition recommendations to aid in their treatment.

Chiropractic Manipulation
-
A manual therapy technique used by chiropractors to treat musculoskeletal conditions. It involves applying controlled force to a joint in order to restore proper movement and alignment.
-
Proper alignment in the spine allows for proper nerve conduction by reducing impedance. It is particularly helpful for musculoskeletal disorders such as arthrosis, low back pain, and neck pain as well as pain in any extremity.
-
It is believed that by removing physical hindrances to nerve conduction, it allows other areas of the body to function correctly, including internal organs, the endocrine system, and immune system.

McKenzie Method
-
McKenzie method is a series of exercises that reset disc herniations and bulges in the spine that cause discomfort and pain. It works to gradually mobilize the spinal joints and to gently “push” the disc into its correct placement between vertebrae, removing it from the areas where it abrades the nerves. It is only to be used in pts with discogenic issues, however, it can also be used to help mobilize other joints in the body such as shoulders and knees. It is commonly used as a home exercise program in conjunction with chiropractic treatments and physical therapy.
